Return & Refund Policy – PROBEAUTY

At PROBEAUTY, we want every order to be a good experience. However, if you are not completely satisfied, you can return the products under the conditions below.

This policy applies to online orders placed on our website and complies with GEO 34/2014 regarding consumer rights.

1. Legal right of withdrawal (14 days) – natural persons (B2C)

According to GEO 34/2014, the consumer (natural person) has the right to withdraw from the contract, without stating a reason, within 14 calendar days from:

  • the date of receiving the product, or
  • the date of receiving the last product (in the case of an order with multiple deliveries).

Important: This right is independent of the PROBEAUTY commercial policy and applies automatically to online orders.

2. PROBEAUTY Commercial Policy – extended term (90 days)

In addition to the legal right, PROBEAUTY offers an extended 90-day commercial return policy, valid for:

  • distributors
  • salons / professionals
  • or clients benefiting from an extended term (where applicable)

Returns within 90 days are a commercial benefit, which does not affect the consumer's legal rights.

3. General return conditions (valid for any return)

For the return to be accepted, the product must meet the following conditions:

✅ Eligible products

  • the product is unused or minimally tested
  • it is returned in good condition, without damage
  • it is accompanied by proof of purchase (invoice / order confirmation)
  • it is returned in its original packaging, with all accessories and any gifts received

⚠️ Conditionally accepted products

  • unsealed or tested products – the refund may be proportionally reduced according to the diminished value of the product, in accordance with Art. 14 para. (3) of GEO 34/2014

❌ Ineligible products

  • products damaged as a result of improper use
  • customized / specially ordered products
  • products that cannot be returned for hygiene or safety reasons if they have been unsealed (where applicable)

Attention – hygiene products / direct skin contact: For health and hygiene reasons, products that have been unsealed and used and that come into direct contact with the skin (e.g., clippers, trimmers, razors, or other similar products) cannot be returned.

4. Return policy for equipment (appliances / household appliances / devices)

4.1. Opened and/or used equipment – special term

For opened and/or used equipment, the customer can request a full refund (100%) within a maximum of 2 calendar days from the date of receiving the product.

After the expiration of the 2 days:

  • the product is no longer eligible for commercial return
  • it falls exclusively under the service / legal warranty procedure

✅ This rule is a PROBEAUTY commercial policy and does not limit legal warranty rights.

4.2. Equipment return – reason: does not meet expectations

(Valid within the 90-day commercial policy)

In this case:

  • the product is technically and aesthetically evaluated
  • the refund may be partial, depending on the degree of wear
Product condition Refund percentage
As new / minimally tested 90%
Slight signs of use 70–80%
Visible wear, but functional 50–60%

The reduction in the refunded amount reflects the diminished value of the product, in accordance with GEO 34/2014.

4.3. Equipment return – reason: technical defect

If the product has a technical defect not attributable to the customer:

  • the refund is full (100%)
  • the transportation cost is borne by PROBEAUTY

Alternatively, the customer can opt for:

  • repair by authorized service
  • product replacement

5. How to initiate a return

To return a product purchased from us:

  1. Log in to your customer account
  2. Access the return form and complete the request
  3. A representative of the courier company will contact you within 24–48 hours to pick up the package

📦 Package preparation

  • carefully pack the product so that it is not damaged during transport
  • do not stick the AWB directly on the product box
  • include a copy of the invoice in the package or mention the invoice number in the form

6. Transport and responsibility

The cost of return shipping is borne by:

  • the customer, in case of contract withdrawal or commercial return
  • PROBEAUTY, in case of a defective or incorrectly delivered product

The customer is responsible for the integrity of the product until its reception by PROBEAUTY.

7. Return evaluation and processing time

Returned products are evaluated from a:

  • aesthetic
  • functional
  • completeness (accessories, packaging, gifts)

The return processing time is a maximum of 4 working days from handing over the package to the courier.

If we need additional information, a colleague from the Service & Returns Department will contact you.

8. Money refund

The refund is made within a maximum of 14 calendar days from the acceptance of the return.

The refund is made by:

  • the same payment method used for the purchase, or
  • voucher / PROBEAUTY credit (only with the customer's consent)

9. Warranty and service

After the expiration of the return periods, products benefit from:

  • legal conformity warranty
  • authorized service, in accordance with current legislation

10. Final provisions

  • This policy does not limit the consumer's rights provided by law
  • PROBEAUTY reserves the right to refuse returns that do not comply with the above conditions
  • The policy applies to orders placed after the publication date of this page

1) How long do I have to return a product?
  • Natural person (B2C): you have a legal right of withdrawal within 14 calendar days from receiving the product (according to GEO 34/2014).

2) Can I return a product if it has been opened?

Yes, in certain cases, but the product must be in good condition (undamaged). Depending on the degree of use/testing, there may be a reduction in the refunded amount, proportional to the diminished value of the product (according to GEO 34/2014).

3) Which products CANNOT be returned?

We do not accept returns for:

  • hygiene/safety products that have been unsealed and used (e.g., clippers, trimmers, razors or other products that come into direct contact with the skin)
  • products damaged due to improper use
  • customized / specially ordered products
