Premature wear of clipper blades:

In general, physical wear can occur for several reasons. Most often, it happens due to incorrect use or failure to follow essential maintenance steps. Among the most common, we can mention:

-lack of lubricant film on the blade surface

-rapid overheating during operation due to lack of proper maintenance

-wear of the plastic guide

-presence of residues (fur/hair, metals, dust, and other foreign materials) between the lower and upper blades

Proper maintenance of clipper blades:

Clipper blades should be oiled with a special oil before, during, and after use. If the blades leave a streak or seem to slow down the clipper's operation, they need screw adjustment, checking the tension spring or plastic guide, and lubrication with an oil film. The procedure involves applying a few drops of oil to the front of the blades and moving parts. Excess oil should be immediately wiped off with a dry, clean cloth.
